The SAW or M249 SAW as refered to by the game, Is a faster firing machine gun, whilst firing faster than the RPD it does considrably less damage in multiplayer with the rpd doing 40 per shot and the SAW doing 30 pershot, Both guns equal out in singal player. The SAW is the signature weapon of ssgt. Griggs. The rarity of the gun which can be found in Charie don't surf, The bog, War pig, Heat, The sins of the father and ultimatium. Firing in burst will be helpful because of the high muzzle flash.
